HOW TO APPLY

Applications for this fund will only be accepted if it meets criteria under Who & What Determines a Disaster?, unless it is an organizational grant for Risk Reduction and Disaster Readiness (phase one of our Approach to Disaster Response).

Information needed to complete your application includes, but is not limited to the following:

Program Overview
  • Provide general information and characteristics about the program or service you provide, including program title, duration, area of disaster approach, and program location(s).
  • Tell us specifically how your organization will respond to the disaster
  • Budgets for pre-disaster and long-term support. If the budget provided on the grant application does not fit your organization’s needs, you may provide your own.
  • If you have a fiscal sponsor (primarily used for organizations without an IRS nonprofit designation and non-governmental agencies), you will be asked to identify your sponsor and submit the agreement form below. Please note, your fiscal sponsor must have a current organizational profile with the Community Foundation.
